Sincere appologies for my low activity here. University is taking up a pretty fair amount of my time, and I prefer to go to theaters or draw in my spare time. I do manage to check my online accounts, only I don't really have time for social chatter right now. I hope that's gonna change though. Anyway, I've recently been included into the "I am abnormal" exhibition, held at the Abnormals Gallery, Berlin. The exhibition deals with why people see themselves as abnormal, through inner selfportraits. It's a real privilege as the featured artists are all wonderful. If you're in the neighbourhood, the show lasts from the 5th of December until the 13th of January.
In other news, expect new work from me really soon :]

A bit about me:

My name is Andreea Anghel, I am currently 19 and as of October 2009 I am studying for my Bachelor's Degree in Graphics at UAD Cluj-Napoca. I've developed a passion for photography and photomanipulation as a result of lack of time to actually draw what I visualise in my mind.
The whole theme of my work is based on the human condition and degradation...from sins to problems or simply human nature. I've started to create them when I was 16 and I hope to keep exploring these depths. To me, they represent not only a message to my viewers, but also an attempt at trying to see beauty in imperfection.
