Obviously the title " I used to" implies that you once did something, but have stopped. On the left side I see a girl hiding behind some sort of semi-transparent veil. So to me I see someone hiding herself from the world. Yes, the veil is sort of see-through, but it's still acting as a barrier. On the right side, the girl is sitting down and looks very depressed. The veil isn't there anymore, so to me it seems like she's stopped hiding herself. Because she has finally exposed herself, she may be getting bad reactions or may be outcast - people who aren't used to this "new" person may not want to get to know her. The idea kind of fits since you shot this in your school's attic, and the behavior I'm describing seems to be something occurring in high school. That's what I think, anyway.
